Birmingham City Council’s formal consultation on the Big City Plan ‘Work in Progress’ Report ran from the 12th December 2008 to the 6th February 2009.

The City Council carried out a range of consultation activities that were intended to meet, but also to exceed the requirements of the Council’s adopted Statement of Community Involvement and Government guidance for this type of consultation.  Other activities are ongoing.  Many thanks for 'getting involved' – the City Council has received a huge response !

All attributable comments submitted to date have now been processed and are visible to all herein. 

As of 4th March, a total of 1,864 comments from a total of 273 contributors have been logged as follows:

• Directly into the consultation portal - 719
• Via e-mail - 679
• By post - 409
• Other - 57

We are now in the process of analysing these comments, to assist in developing the next stage of the Big City Plan.
