Core Strategy Issues and Options Consultation
The Issues and Options Consultation is the first stage in preparing the Core Strategy.
The purpose of this consultation is to encourage discussion on the key issues which Birmingham will need to address over the next twenty years.
You will see that we have put forward three options involving different levels of new housing development. The Council is not committed to any of these options - they are proposed in order to stimulate debate. We will use the outcome of this debate to help us develop 'Preferred Options' which we hope to publish next year, again as a basis for discussion.
