 The Core Strategy 2026 Consultation Draft

Thank you for visiting the Birmingham City Council consultation page.  The Core Strategy reflects the city’s aspirations for sustainable growth, economic development and its commitment to tackle climate change over the next 20 years.  

A draft of the Strategy has been published for consultation.  This consultation period has now closed but you can still view the comments made on the document by following the instructions below and on the next page.  We are now reviewing the comments received and expect to publish a revised version of the Strategy (the 'Publication' version) during 2012. 

How to access the document

Click on the document name below to move to the main consultation page. You will then be able to view the document and the comments.

If you want to be able to access other planning documents and take part in future consultations and surveys you will need to log in.  If you have already used Objective to make your comments with another authority you are able to use the same login details but if you are using Objective for the first time you will need to register.  You do this by clicking on the ‘Register’ link within the ‘login’ section and completing the online instructions.   You will then be sent your login details which will enable you to access the document and make your comments.
